122. Utahraptor ostrommaysi
Slicing Claw (Restored)
Early Cretaceous
Western North America
Utahraptor was the most efficient killing machine in the Early Cretaceous of North America.
Reaching a length of 15 feet, Utahraptor used the huge slicing claw on the second toe of its foot to quickly dispense with its prey.
The original claw is badly crushed but this restored claw undoes that damage.
See item 123 for a restoration of the slicing toe.
